Weddings
Every wedding is unique with its own style and dynamics; my goal is to capture the story, the flow of events, and the natural beauty of the participants in moments both formal and spontaneous. There are many elements to consider both aesthetic and logistic. I like to think of my coverage as artful photojournalism combined with more structured composed perspectives with supportive low-key direction when needed.

I usually work in a combination of film formats and/or digital capture, simultaneously utilizing multiple cameras in order to provide both color and black and white coverage, or different points of view. The goals and objectives of my clients are the foundations of my planning; all services are custom tailored to suit their particulars in an interactive process. The objective is to create beautiful and meaningful images that will rekindle memories and reflect their love. Being a wedding photographer is a Zen- like discipline- to be fully present and prepared for all that transpires and continues to unfold, a sensitive awakened observer.

Portraits
In making a portrait I strive to capture an honest reflection of spirit, mood and beauty that evokes the inner quality of my subject. The process requires trust, and our time together often includes play and laughter as well as serious composition.

Digital & fine Art
I love creating visual meaning and evolving images to make unique and profound statements. Whether I work to client needs and goals, developing visual solutions for a spectrum of challenges or following my imagination down a diverging path, taking images from conception to completion is a rewarding journey- crafting the best expression of an idea; merging multiple exposures into a composite; gently tweaking variables towards a perfect print; or following the muse to redefine an archetype.
